PHILOSOPHY

Although I hold no bias towards any particular artistic approach or medium, I have always believed in craft of artistic creation. Although I'm well aware of the many tools out there that can speed up the creation process, I reap great personal pleasure from creating things with nothing more than my thoughts and my hands.
I have always enjoyed watching how things age gracefully (or not). To me, one of the most important ingredients to creating a feeling of authenticity in my work is the inclusion of time. I love the way mother nature ages and transforms things over time - adding detail, character and depth to whatever she touches.
